Gold Museum (Muzeul Aurului)
Brad, Hunedoara County
2006
Gold Museum in Brad
If you're ever close to Brad in Hunedoara county, you might enjoy a visit to the Gold Museum, which has been around for over a hundred years. Here you can admire native gold in a variety of specimens, as well as other minerals. This short presentation will focus on the gold specimens as well as on some tools of the trade exhibited in the museum.

Two "lizards," one of which was presumably insured for two million pounds when it was exhibited at the 1937 Paris International Exhibition.

This is the end of this presentation. Keep in mind, however, that the museum also has on display a wealth of other minerals, each with its own story.
